The evolution of an idea

The final version of what started as "Smash Atom"  space adventurer
I love the look of those old model sheets so I decided to try and do my own version.  This and the top image are in my book "Paper Trail"
A previous version of Smash Atom.  Felt he could be pushed even more.
Found this guy in my files on my computer.  Very surprised it's still around.  I think I did this when I was in college.  Probably 6 or 7 years ago.  The first version of Smash Atom.  Man I was bad!

This is dope, dude! Love these kinds of posts - I did one with an old Spiderman sketch I did when I was in college too as "Then/Now" comparison. Obviously you've gotten better, but it's always interesting revisiting old work, even if it's just a year old. I did that recently as well, in a way, so I love seeing posts like these. You definitely hit it out of the park with the most recent one!

Smashed it! I've mentioned it before but you've really evolved a lot in the last couple of years let alone going back to college days. Keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I kinda went out on a limb posting that image from college. Thanks for not ripping it!

I think I'll show it to my students so they can see that it's not some magic formula to get better. Just time and hard work.
