Scary, Wonderful, Seeker who may or may not be an imp

My buddy Brett Bean started a new blog that has a RANDOM CHARACTER GENERATOR on it.  This is my first character that u used as a warm up today.  I got Scary, wonderful, seeker, who may or may not be an imp.  This is what I came up with. 

This blog is amazing especially for warmups and getting out of your comfort zone.  I highly recommend it!

Heads up!

Well i have been entirely frustrated with my work lately so i stayed up late last night and tried to work through it.  I haven't drawn with the ol' blue col-erase for a while and i was pretty pleased that i got five decent ones out.  These are in no way great but I think i may be forcing myself out of this slump.  Sometimes i feel right before i'm about to hit a new level in my art I have to break through a 4ft thick steel wall.  Hopefully that's problem.

Manhunter!

Another Morning warm up turned digital painting experiment.  Pretty happy with the way this one came out. 

I've always been a fan of the Martian Manhunter's alien form.  So i decided to do a more "traditional" design based on that.  More of a classical looking alien with the big round head.  Let me know what you think

A warm up gone horribly wrong...

This started out as a warm up and quickly turned into a digital painting experiment.  I used some of the techniques my buddy Brett Bean shared with me.  Overall i think it was fairly successful.

My new dream job...

Super hero costume designer.  Man if that was a real job I would be all over it!  These are some pretty rough colors just to get the ideas down.  They are all supposed to be the same hero if you couldn't tell.

Ok now i need some help.  Which one do you all like best?  I'm kinda torn.  Let me know!

I got a lot of inspiration from Cory Walker.  His supergirl costume designs are amazing!  and he is just amazing all together.  Take a look if you're not familiar with his work.
